Panasonic seeks Canada's oldest microwave
By Adnews Staff
Panasonic Canada has begun a contest called "Dinner, Design and 50,000 Dimes" to promote its Genius Inverter microwave oven. The goal of the national contest is to find the oldest microwave in Canada. Participants can enter through the Panasonic.ca website until Sept. 15. The winner will receive a Genius Inverter microwave and a $5000 kitchen redesign from decorator Karl Lohnes. "If you've had your microwave for decades it's definitely time for an upgrade," said Jimmy Chang, senior product manager at Panasonic Canada. "That's why Panasonic is launching this contest and giving Canadians a chance to update their microwave to a more technologically advanced and stylish model." Public relations for the contest are being handled by Environics Communications.
