SEGA SPLITS WITH AGENCY

Sega of America is parting ways in June with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners of San Francisco and will hold a closed review for the $60 million(US) business later this year. The way advertising works in Canada will remain the unchanged, spoksperson Roanne Argyle told Adnews last week. Argyle works for Temple Scott & Associates, Sega's PR agency in Canada. Sega of Canada will continue to use U.S. creative, while media buying will be done by Media Experts of Montreal. Earlier this year, Sega hired Mednick Group of Culver City, California to create a spring TV campaign for its Saturn 32-bit game system.
