GROUP 1 HAS NEW CANADIAN DISTRIBUTOR

Ascom Canada of Markham, Ont. is distributing Group 1 Software's Master Delivery Series of PC-based Canadian address and mail management software. The software lets mailers correct and validate Canadian addresses and postal codes, and presorts automatically, following Canada Post's specifications. Master Delivery Series makes it easy for mailers to comply with the new address goals set out by Canada Post on Jan. 1. To qualify for lower postal rates, mailers must have an address accuracy of at least 90%. Group 1 Software is headquartered in Lanham, Maryland. Ascom Canada markets a broad range of mail handling products, including mailing machines and meters. It is a subsidiary of the Swiss company Ascom Corp.
