Weetabix breaks national TV campaign

Weetabix of Canada has released a new national television campaign intended to portray the cereal as a wholesome part of a healthy morning routine. The 30-second commercial, created by Anderson DDB Health & Lifestyle of Toronto, is aimed at health-conscious consumers who buy food for their families. The animated ad, called "Morning Routine," shows a package of Weetabix cereal going through its own morning exercise routine. A voice-over describes the nutritional content of the cereal and its taste. The ad uses the tagline, "Make it part of your routine." "The new Weetabix commercial gives a fun personality to the brand while underscoring the healthiness of the product and effectively communicating that it's in line with today's busy lifestyles," said agency president Kevin Brady.
