Pepsi releases ads for Gatorade Propel
By Adnews Staff
Pepsi-QTG Canada of Toronto has begun a campaign to promote a product new to Canada called Gatorade Propel, which is bottled water containing vitamin supplements. Propel has been sold in the U.S. since 2000. The vitamins in the water are B-6, niacin, pantothenic acid, C and E. It comes in berry, lemon and grape flavours. A 30-second television commercial is currently airing nationally on conventional and specialty stations. The ad, created by Downtown Partners, depicts drops of water morphing into athletic people as they hit the ground. The campaign will also make use of posters in fitness centres nationally. A 30-second theatre commercial will also go into national circulation soon. Media buying for the campaign was handled by OMD. Public relations are being provided by Fleishman Hillard.
