Moen begins new North American campaign
By Adnews Staff
Faucet maker Moen Canada of Oakville, ON will break a new marketing campaign this week that will include television, print and online advertising. The creative presents Moen as a brand that places "style and livability" ahead of passing fads. This campaign is the first from Moen's new North American agency of record, Marc USA of Pittsburgh, PA. The agency was hired by Moen Canada's U.S.-based parent company late last year in a review of an unknown number of firms. The assignment includes the development of a marketing direction for the company, plus advertising and communications to dealers and associates. The new TV and print ads are based on a large letter "M". Inside this letter the ads display the company's faucets as are beautiful objects that are high in quality. The initiative will include three television commercials. One, called "Wowie Zowie," lampoons trendy fixtures that later go out of style. Another, called "Real Life," portrays Moen products as items for a family to use. The ads close with the "M" logo. The print ads also seek to depict Moen faucets as products that contribute to the beauty of a room without demanding attention. Media buying for Moen in Canada is handled by Media Buying Services. Canadian public relations are provided by Argyle Rowland Communications.
