BEAMSCOPE HIRES MEDIA BUYING SHOP

Media Experts of Montreal is handling media buying for the new company Beamscope Toys. Although Beamscope marketing director Gary Mirsky told Adnews that the company was looking for an agency for a fall campaign (reported in Adnews On-line Feb. 13, 1996), president Bruce Krell said yesterday that it's too early to say whether the creative will be handled in-house or if an agency will be hired. Beamscope has agreements to distribute toys in Canada for companies such as Ace Novelty, Chicco Toys and RoseArt Industries. Most advertising creative will come from the toy companies; Media Experts will place it.
