NHL NETWORK HOLDS STANLEY CUP CONTEST

NHL Network wil begin a contest called "Meet Up with Stanley" today. The online initiative is aimed at potential and existing subscribers to the digital specialty channel. It will run until May 16 at <http://www.nhlnetwork.ca>. The contest, created and conducted in-house, is being promoted with TV commercials, direct mail, print ads and Web banners. The network's distribution partners are also providing on-air advertising, print ads and Web site links. The winner will be selected on May 21. The grand prize includes a trip for four to Toronto, dinner with the NHL Network broadcast staff in the presence of the Stanley Cup, a tour of the NHL Network studios, tickets to a Toronto Maple Leafs game and a tour of the Hockey Hall of Fame. Secondary prizes of NHL Network T-shirts will also be awarded.
