PATTISON BEGINS PILOT PROGRAM WITH MAGINK
By Adnews Staff
Pattison Outdoor has begun a pilot program with magink display technologies of New York. A 3m x 6m billboard has been erected outside of Pattison's Oakville, ON headquarters that uses magink's "digital ink" technology. According to Brian Irwin, vice-president of client services and marketing for Pattison, over the next few months the board will display static test images. During that time, Pattison will invite potential clients to examine the board. Magink's technology can change an image instantly based viewer reaction, time of day or current events. These boards do not use paper or vinyl. Based on the results of the pilot program, the company may begin converting a number of its existing billboards in Toronto to magink's system.
