BRICK BREWING SELLING IN U.S.
By Adnews Staff
Brick Brewing Co. of Waterloo, Ont. is selling its wares in the U.S. The brewer began testing two of its beers in Illinois and Michigan last month, and will be in Ohio and upper New York State by August. Currently, it is just testing its Brick Premium and Red Baron brands, but will put others on the market if all goes well, company founder Jim Brickman told Adnews yesterday. Brick's U.S. distributor, Kensington Market of Miami, runs point-of-sale advertising. Brick also makes Red Cap Ale, Brick Amber Dry and Waterloo Dark. It brews Pacific Real Draft and Henninger bottles and draft under license. Advertising in Canada is done by Bruce & Marty Creative Directions and Vickers & Benson Advertising, both of Toronto.
