GROUPACTION TO PUSH COOKIES

Groupaction will be singing the praises of real butter and quality chocolate chips.The Montreal agency was hired earlier this month to handle Quebec advertising for Monsieur Félix & Mr. Norton Gourmet Cookies. Groupaction was hired in a competition with two other agencies because "they have a lot of experience in TV and promotions," marketing director Patrice Lanthier told Adnews yesterday. The cookie company used IMPACT Advertising of Montreal for almost 10 years, for both English and French advertising, but decided "it was time for a change," said Lanthier. A new campaign will be launched in the fall. Groupaction's English Canadian affiliate, Toronto-based Campaign House, will do advertising outside Quebec. Monsieur Félix & Mr Norton Gourmet Cookies has 28 outlets in Ontario and Quebec, and hopes to open another six to eight stores by next April.
