Bacardi readies Toronto restaurant promotion
By Adnews Staff
Alcohol company Bacardi Canada will conduct a promotion in Toronto later this month to support the launch of a new product called Gran Reserva Maestro and the re-launch of its Ocho Años rum. The promotion will take the form of a temporary Cuban restaurant and bar called Bacardi Paladar that will operate in Kensington Market on Oct. 28 and 29. The installation will offer Cuban-inspired food, various rum-based cocktails and live Latin music and dancing. Access to the installation will be offered to consumers through the brand's Twitter account.
"Bacardi has a deep appreciation for the culinary arts so it was natural to bring together [chefs Matty Matheson and Eileen Andrade] to create a completely unique and authentic experience for consumers," said Lisa Mazurkewich, brand director at Bacardi Canada. "The Bacardi Paladar embodies the spirit of our brand, Cuban heritage combined with a passion for excellence and creativity. This will be an evening unlike any other."
