Clarks opens promotional store in Toronto

Footwear company Clarks Americas has opened a temporary retail location in Toronto. The 1,000 square-foot store, called Clarks Edit, is the first temporary store the company has operated in North America. It will be open until January and will sell a collection of the brand's fall and winter products. The installation also displays historical Clarks advertisements, pictures of the company's founders and its first English factories, and information about the Clark family's shoe making inventions. It also offers a boot embossing station.

"For over 190 years Clarks has been devoted to its craft with an expansive history of design and comfort technology innovation," said Christopher Scinto, chief marketing officer at Clarks Americas. "For over 63 years the brand has been committed to the Canadian market and Toronto was the logical place to showcase an edited range from our autumn/winter collection."
