JAM RESTRUCTURES MANAGEMENT
By Adnews Staff
Mike Giamprini, formerly vice-president and general manager of Toronto-based JAM, has been named president of the integrated marketing communications agency. His promotion is one of several appointments within the agency which are parts of a restructuring of JAM's senior management. He assumes the post from Kevin Bird, one of Jam's partners. Bird moves into the role of partner for client relationships and development. He will focus his efforts on new business development. Replacing Giamprini as general manager is Janet Banks, who was previously director of operations. Banks is now responsible for JAM's "people, processes and quality." Also, Perry Diavatopoulos has joined the agency full-time as creative director. He has been working with the company on a freelance basis for the past few months. "JAM has experienced significant growth and success this past year. It really has been an amazing year for securing new business and acquiring top-notch talent," Giamprini said. "These changes will enable JAM to build on that success and make it the type of integrated agency clients and staff love to work with."
