TIM HORTONS PROMOTES ICED CAPPUCCINO FOR SUMMER

Tim Hortons is breaking a new campaign for its Iced Cappuccino beverage. Available in Canada for the past two years and in the U.S. for the past three, Tim Hortons is looking to get people into a summer mindset with the multimedia campaign launching this week. The campaign's creative, from Enterprise Creative Selling of Toronto, focuses on the cool taste of the drink. Television advertising depicts a woman and man climbing what appears to be an ice cliff. As the spot continues it is revealed that the pair are actually climbing a gigantic Iced Cappuccino cup. As the spot ends, the woman breaks through the cup to get a drink. Two versions of the 30-second spot will run across Canada. The television ads will be accompanied with radio, outdoor and newspaper advertising as well as point-of-purchase materials.
