SURFING THE NET FOR PRIZES

Toronto-based Quadravision Communications is sending Internet surfers on a scavenger hunt. Quadravision is running The Great Canadian Internet CyberHunt, a game developed for seven companies to showcase home pages on the World Wide Web, all of which were set up by Quadravision. Contestants are required to answer questions drawn from information on the companies' Web pages. Weekly prizes include a color inkjet printer, a Molson Cool Prize Pack, one-year of Internet access, a CD library, a mountain bike and a $500 Guaranteed Investment Certificate. Contestants also have a chance to win a $5,000 GIC from Bayshore Trust. Other companies involved in the game are Canadian Corporate News, Molson Breweries, InfoRamp, eye Weekly Magazine, BMW Canada, The Last Minute Club and CityTV.
