PLAINTREE SYSTEMS GOING PLACES

Plaintree Systems has begun its first major advertising campaign for its optical wireless products. Colour advertisements running in trade publications Network World, Communications News, Internet Telephony, Broadband Wireless and Broadband Solutions feature the tagline "Go Places Where Wire Won't Let You." The campaign is targeting "decision-makers" by emphasizing the benefits of Ottawa-based Plaintree's optical wireless transmission products such as no licensing and no radio frequency interference. The campaign is part of the marketing and sales plan for the company's new Wavebridge optical wireless communication products, David Watson, president and CEO of Plaintree said. Advertising is scheduled to run over the course of the next two years.
