DAIRY FARMERS OF ONTARIO PROMOTING MILK'S NUTRIENTS

The Dairy Farmers of Ontario launched its new "Milk Gives" advertising campaign yesterday in Ontario and Saskatchewan. The multimedia campaign is designed to build on the Dairy Farmer's long running "Milk Energy plus 15 Essential Nutrients" campaign that has featured the jingles and taglines "How are you going to spend your energy?" and "Drink Milk, Love Life," said Roberta Jessup-Ramsay, advertising manager for the Dairy Farmers of Ontario. The new "Milk Gives" campaign is designed to focus on the benefits of milk's nutrients and what they do for the body both inside and out. A series of four television commercials, featuring the song "I've Got You Under My Skin" by Cole Porter, will be supported with billboard advertising which broke Monday. Additional elements of the campaign will include transit and magazine ads and interior mall posters breaking this Spring, Jessup-Ramsay said. The campaign will run for the next year and a half targeting a broad audience with an extra focus on six to 17-year-olds and 25 to 49-year-olds. Advertising was created by Watt Burt Advertising.
