OEB APPOINTS JESSON PRESIDENT

OEB International Public Relations/Public Affairs has appointed Barbara Jesson president. Having worked on both the agency and client side of the business, Jesson has headed communication teams at Four Seasons Hotels, Abitibi-Price (now Abitibi-Consolidated), Allied (now Allied Signal) and Labatt Breweries. She was also a partner and founder of the Toronto advertising and public relations agency MacPhee Jesson, now Cormark MacPhee Communications Solutions. Jesson most recently worked as an independent consultant. She succeeds managing director Kadi Kaljuste, who left OEB last fall to join the Toronto office of Hill and Knowlton as vice-president of marketing communications.
