RETHINK ROLLS OUT AGENCY LAGER
By Adnews Staff
Vancouver-based ad agency Rethink is rolling out its own brand of beer in British Columbia liquor stores this week, according to a report in the National Post. The lager contains ginseng, gingko and tribulus, the last of which is said to boost testosterone. Rethink beer will be available in six packs, the plastic holder of which can also serve as a CD carrier when the beer is gone. The cap on each bottle carries a number and the agency's Web site address. The number corresponds to a position in The Kama Sutra which can be looked-up on the site. Promotion of the beer includes bathroom advertising in bars, online promotion and fliers. Depending on its success in BC, the report said the agency and its brewing partner, Tree Brewing of Kelowna, BC, may roll out the beer to Toronto, Montreal and into the U.S. Following the pattern of the beer, the agency hopes to launch a new Rethink branded product each year.
