FORD AND YAHOO FUSE TOGETHER IN NEW CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Ford Motor Company of Canada, based in Oakville, Ontario, has tapped Yahoo! Canada of Toronto to develop a new online marketing campaign for the car manufacturer. The initiative is to highlight different products and services of Ford, said Lauren More, sales and marketing communications manager. Promotional campaigns, targeted advertising and direct marketing activities are expected to be included in Yahoo!'s "fusion program", which combines sales and marketing plans with online advertising. Initial plans include off-line and online advertising and promotional elements for both companies. Advertising for Ford is done by Young & Rubicam of Toronto. Yahoo! Canada originally launched its fusion marketing program earlier this month when it struck an agreement with convenience store chain 7-Eleven.
