HOTJOBS.CA HIRES AGENCIES FOR LAUNCH
By Adnews Staff
A trio of Toronto agencies have been hired to promote the launch of HotJobs.ca, the Canadian version of New York-based online recruitment services company HotJobs.com. The site, which debuted yesterday, is being promoted through a national advertising campaign and public relations program. GCI Group now holds the company's public relations agency-of-record title. Media responsibilities have been divided between GreyInteractive, which will be the client's online agency, responsible for online media buying, and The Media Company, which will handle HotJobs.ca's offline media buying. The new site is being targeted at both Canadian job seekers and employers via outdoor billboards, transit advertising, print ads in national dailies and through online promotion. Advertising for this campaign was created in-house. Future advertising for HotJobs will be handled by its recently appointed advertising agency, Weiss Stagliano Partners of New York.
