TDI Canada has announced several new staff appointments. Tom Cummings, previously market manager with TDI in Minneapolis, has been appointed vice president, market manager. Christine Park, manager, sales services joins TDI from Mediacom where she was charting manager. George Tougas, previously with Urban Outdoor Trans Ad, assumes the same position as director of service. Allan Hobbs, John Fleming and Lori Smyth, all most recently with Urban Outdoor Trans Ad as national account mangers, join TDI assuming the same position. Linda Clayton and Geoff Austin also join TDI in the role of national account managers. Clayton was previously with Transcontinental Distribution where she worked as national account manager and Austin joins TDI from Rogers Media where he held the position of senior account manager.
Deborah Brown has been named director of marketing for Inprise Canada Inc. In her new role, Brown will be responsible for establishing and executing the company's marketing plans in Canada including advertising, seminar series and events, promotions and the Canadian Web and e-commerce sites. Brown joins Inprise Canada from Cabletron Systems Inc. where she worked as Canadian marketing manager.
