NORWALL GROUP BUILDS U.S. POSITION WITH NEW AD CAMPAIGN

Norwall Group Inc. of Brampton, Ontario has launched what it is calling an industry advertising first. The company began a television advertising campaign in the U.S. late January marking the first time a wallcovering manufacturer has mounted a TV campaign to encourage customers to visit their local retailers and purchase wallpaper. The Cdn$500,000 budget includes three 30-second spots running on Home and Garden Television. The campaign was created in-house by Norwall working with H>V and promotes the use of wallpaper in home decorating as well as showcases the Norwall brand name. Additional promotion is being seen at the dealer level with in-store posters tying into the television ads. Advertising is scheduled to run until March.
