PJ DDB'S KIDS DIVISION GOES GLOBAL

Palmer Jarvis DDB's kids marketing division, Imagination Youth Marketing, is joining New York-based Kid Think Inc., the kid marketing consultancy. Imagination is joining Kid Think as part of its worldwide expansion. DDB offices in 15 countries will be included in the expansion of Kid Think including 22 offices across North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Kid Think Inc. was founded ten years ago by Paul Kurnit, president of Griffin Bacal which is a subsidiary of DDB. Kid Think is designed to offer marketers customized services and specialized resources. Kid Think Canada will be based in Vancouver and will be headed up by Lynne DeCew as managing director. DeCew currently holds the same title for PJ DDB's Imagination Youth Marketing. A specialized media team will also be set up in Toronto and headed by Sue Poland, vice president, media director. PJ DDB's Imagination Youth Marketing division was created in 1992. The division plans and executes communication programs and promotions targeting the youth market.
