EXXONMOBIL PROMOTING NEW COMPANY THROUGH GLOBAL AD EFFORT

Exxon Mobil Corporation of Houston, Texas is launching a global advertising campaign to announce the completion of the ExxonMobil merger. Exxon Mobil Corporation was formed when Exxon Chemical Company and Mobil Chemical Company merger together. The merger was completed on November 30, 1999. The advertising campaign is designed to highlight the company's experience in the industry and its human, financial and technological resources. The campaign will reach ExxonMobil's worldwide audiences through global print, broadcast and Internet ads. Running in the U.S., Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa, print ads will be seen in international newspapers and magazines including: Newsweek, Time, the New York Times, USA Today, the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Economist, the Far Eastern Economic Review, Africa Today and the Middle Eastern Economic Digest. Print advertising will be supported with 15-second television spots which will be seen on CNN, CNNI, CNBC, the BBC and the Arabic networks JSC, MBC and LBC. Internet advertising will be running on business and financial sites including CBS Marketwatch, Dow Jones/WSJ interactive and The Street.com. Advertising for Exxon Mobil is done by DDB New York.
