OCEAN SPRAY BERRY HAPPY WITH NEW JUICES

Ocean Spray International Services, Inc. of Mississauga, Ontario is slaking Canadians' thirst with a new line of fruit juices, recently launched across the country. The juices are available in four flavors: Cranberry, Cranberry & Concord Grape, Cranberry & Peach and Cranberry & Granny Smith Apple. A Health Check symbol is displayed on the product labels. Health Check is a program run by the Heart & Stroke Foundation to promote healthy eating as part of a total diet. The juices are available in 1.89L plastic bottles in grocery stores across the country. To support the launch of the new juices, print ads are running in national magazines including the December issues of Chatelaine, Canadian Living and Homemaker's. Outdoor advertising initiatives include billboards, transit and backlit street posters running throughout Ontario. Advertising will be supported with national public relations and in-store sampling from February to March 2000. Cohn & Wolfe is handling public relations, Genesis Media is handling media buying and Strateco handling creative, including consumer programs and print campaign. All three are based in Toronto.
