BLUE SUEDE TAKES TWO BRANDS AND PACKAGES THEM AS ONE
By Adnews Staff
Following Vancouver-based SoyaWorld Inc.'s acquisition of the So Nice soy beverage brand earlier this year, the company set out to merge its original Soyganic beverage brand with So Nice. To do so, the company turned to design firm Blue Suede Creative of Vancouver to develop packaging for the "new and improved" So Nice Soyganic beverage brand. According to SoyaWorld, the project involved integrating the two products without confusing the consumer as well an building on the power of the two brands. Blue Suede identified its target market as being So Nice and Soyganic consumers as well as potential new health-conscious individuals. The new package design includes a pour shot, color-coded product flavors and information on health benefits. The result is a "very soft, natural look maintaining the package's overall simplicity and the product's integrity," said Rhonda Thibault, vice president, production/client services for Blue Suede. Blue Suede Creative specializes in the creation and management of brand identities.
