E*TRADE CANADA READING CRYSTAL BALL FOR TSE PREDICTION

E*Trade Canada of Toronto will have Canadians reading eight balls, tea leaves and tarot cards after launching eMarketMillion, a nation-wide contest that calls for predictions on the level of the TSE 300 Composite Index at the close of trading on December 31, 1999. Up for grabs is one million ClickMiles, which are redeemable for an equal number of air miles from ten North American airlines. The contest was developed by E*Trade Canada and is sponsored by Netcentives Inc., Canadian Airlines, The Toronto Stock Exchange and Chapters.ca. In addition to the grand prize, an early bird random draw will take place on December 10th for two business class tickets to anywhere Canadian Airline flies. The contest can be entered through <http://www.emarketmillion.com> or <http://www.canada.etrade.com>. All contestants receive a $10 coupon from Chapters.ca, redeemable for a $25 online purchase, just for registering. The eMarketMillion contest is being promoted through print ads in the Globe and Mail, radio spots and banner advertising from Grey Canada of Toronto.
