SEIKO WATCHING SECOND AD CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Seiko is watching the company's second consecutive fall television campaign this year. A new national ad campaign for Seiko's Kinetic Auto Relay watch will include television advertising following the company's first return to the medium since the early 1990's. The Seiko Kinetic Auto Relay watch requires no battery, winding source or other traditional power source. Instead it reacts to the natural movement of the wearer using a miniature generator which charges a capacitive device used to power the watch. This year's national campaign includes television, print and online advertising. The campaign, running from November to the end of December, was adapted for the Canadian market from Seiko Corporation in Tokyo by Jump Communications of Toronto. Jump also managed television post production and media buying. Odyssey Time Inc. of Richmond Hill, Ontario is the sole, authorized distributor of Seiko watches and clocks in Canada, including both the Pulsar and Lassale brands.
