NEWAD SERVING KRAFT DINNER TO COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES

Kraft Canada of Toronto has turned to Toronto-based NewAd to generate awareness for its Kraft Dinner brand while at the same time promoting its new Web site at <http://www.kraftdinner.com>. A national campaign, a first for Kraft and NewAd, is underway across NewAd's college and university network of out-of-home displays, including Dalhousie University, McMaster University, the University of Guelph, the University of Alberta and the University of Saskatchewan. Using the taglines "You've tried it with ketchup, now try it with a mouse" and "And you thought Frosh Week was cheesy..." Kraft hopes to drive traffic to its new site. Kraft is using NewAd's miniboard frames, postcard distribution, chalk art and the placement of Kraft Dinner coasters in student pubs for the campaign. The campaign began in mid-October and runs until mid-November.
