Carlson Marketing Group has announced a promotion and two new appointments to its agency. Theresa Darmody has been promoted from account manager to account director handling the Canadian Olympic Association. Greg Andruszczenko joins the agency as Internet business analyst. He will be responsible for providing strategic direction and expertise in the development of Internet and Intranet solutions for CMG clients. Prior to CMG, he was at Modem Media Poppe Tyson and IBM Software Marketing. Cam Thomson joins CMG's Direct Marketing division as the director of new business development. Prior to CMG, Thomson was president of TMS Multimedia.
DCC Communications has announced the appointment of Brad Arthur as senior vice president, director of client services. Arthur left FCB Toronto in 1998 to join Philadelphia-based Earl Palmer Browne as second in command. While at FCB, Arthur was group account director working on the Mazda business, The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada and Payless Shoes accounts.
