VISA CANADA LAUNCHES NEW COMMERCIAL

Visa Canada has launched its latest television commercial to promote its gold card. The spot is the third of three new advertisements Visa's advertising agency Leo Burnett Company Ltd. created for the credit card company. The new commercial, called "He's Gone", is a 30-second spot, that features the disappearance of a Cro-Magnon man from a scientific lab. While the scientists are discussing how the Cro-Magnon man will survive, one of the scientists looks over to an open wallet on the counter. The camera then flashes to the Cro-Magnon man just finishing dinner in a fancy restaurant. The Cro-Magnon man is seen handing the waiter a Visa Card to pay for his meal. The spot began running at the beginning of September on Global and CBC. "He's Gone" will rotate with "Classic Road" which features a child going through her mother's wallet and tossing out items while driving on the highway, holding onto the Visa card and "Picnic" which features a couple having a picnic and ants carrying a Visa card away.
