TRANSCONTINENTAL PRINTING TIME CANADA

Transcontinental Printing Inc. of Montreal has announced a new agreement with Time Canada of Toronto. The printing company has signed a six-year deal with the magazine that begins in January, 2000. The agreement, which is valued at more than $600 million CAN, finds Transcontinental printing Time Canada magazine, published 51 weeks a year. Don Brown, president of Time Canada said "We're confident that in choosing Transcontinental, Time Canada has found a partner capable of helping us meet the challenges for the new millennium and fits well in helping us meet our Canadian growth objectives." Time Canada was previously printed by Quebecor Printing. Transcontinental will print 380,000 copies of Time Canada for distribution via newsstands and subscriptions.
