By Adnews Staff
ARW Argyle Rowland Worldwide of Toronto has picked up a few new clients, both international and national. Traditional Medicinals Inc. of Sebastopol, California has chosen Argyle and its global partner AC Argyle Communications for a North American program to raise awareness for the company's medicinal teas available in grocery and drug stores. Canadian brands include Echinacea Plus, Cold Formula, Nighty Night, Organic Peppermint and Throat Formula. ARW won the account following a competition with six unnamed agencies. AIM Safe-Air Products Co. of Austin Texas, chose ARW and AC for a campaign to promote its carbon monoxide home detectors. ARW will work with College Home Safety Inc. of Toronto to raise awareness of the AIM brand. College Home Safety is a direct marketer of the AIM brand detector. Enterprise Rent-a-Car of St. Louis, Missouri appointed ARW as its new Canadian agency to promote the company's focus on providing replacement vehicles for owners whose vehicles are being repaired. Enterprise is a North American car rental company. Argyle Rowland has also been working with Ontario Blue Cross for a public relations campaign supporting its summer all-purpose travel package, "Summertime Blue". Earlier ARW added the Toronto-based biotechnology company Visible Genetics, Inc. to its client roster in partnership with Rowland Communications. According to Ray Argyle, chief executive of the agency, three of the five new accounts shifted to ARW after having been with other public relations firms. ARW became affiliated with the international public relations arm of Saatchi & Saatchi plc. last November.
