By Adnews Staff
Family Communications Inc. of Toronto is expecting its newest family member next spring. Publishers of parenting magazines such as Expecting, Labor and Mon Bebe have announced that Parents Canada will launch in April 2000 with a controlled circulation of 200,000. The publication will be part of a package that will be individually addressed and mailed to parents with a child in the appropriate age group. Editorial content will be a mix of child development tracking charts and age-appropriate features, written by medical and health care professionals. Bettie Bradley, corporate vice-president and senior editor, says the mailings of Parents Canada will be sent out to parents when a child is six months old and then again at one year. Family Communications publishes magazines in both the prenatal and post natal markets.
