GCI GROUP HARD AT WORK ON THREE NEW ACCOUNT WINS

GCI Group of Toronto has announced three new account wins. Becton-Dickinson Canada Inc. of Oakville, Ontario has selected GCI to manage public relations for the Canadian launch of an over-the-counter product designed to help women with breast self-examinations. National media relations will be run from GCI's Toronto and Montreal offices. Globalstar Canada of Mississauga, Ontario is a new win for GCI's technology practice. The satellite-based digital voice services provider has hired the agency to handle its public relations needs as they enter the Canadian market. The Toronto Gateway of British Airways has also hired GCI Group. The agency will handle strategic media relations designed to target non-travel media. GCI Group won each of these accounts in competitions with unconfirmed numbers of agencies. "We are very pleased to announced these exciting new wins, which add to our existing roster of diverse clients," GCI president Nancy Croitoru said. "These new partnerships reflect our on-going commitment to client service excellence as we continue to grow our business in a variety of areas." GCI Group is an international public relations and public affairs consultancy, established in 1984.
