GREY ADVERTISING PLAYING WITH PLAY-DOH

New York-based Grey Advertising has been awarded the global advertising assignment for Hasbro Inc.'s Play-Doh brand. The assignment includes creative development and media planning. "Grey's track record for strategic thinking and creativity in building many of our most high-profile brands led to this added assignment," said Lorrie Browning, vice-president of marketing for Hasbro. The new assignment expands the relationship between Hasbro and Grey Advertising. The agency was awarded the Micro-Machines brand earlier this year and currently handles some of Hasbro's Parker Brothers games, Playskool toys, Batman and Star Wars licensed products accounts. Hasbro's Play-Doh line is sold in 75 countries worldwide. Hasbro designs, manufactures and markets toys, games, interactive software, puzzles and infant products.
