SEARS RELAUNCHING HOSIERY LINE

Sears Canada of Toronto is relaunching its Jessica private label sheer hosiery collection in September. In addition to new styles, the look of the product has been changed with the introduction of new packaging. Created in-house, the new packaging features an uncluttered design with a plastic covered window that allows the customer to see the color of the hoisery inside. The front panel features a photo which show the pantyhose on the body to show the customer the style of the hoisery. The line includes 13 new styles. Promotion of the relaunch of the line is taking place in the retailer's weekly circular as well as in Fall Digest, Sears' fashion book. The Jessica line, which was originally launched in 1988, will be available at all 109 Sears stores nationally and through selected Sears catalogues.
