SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT ON A WINNING STREAK

The Toronto-based creative communications firm Special Assignment has been on a winning streak that has the firm working overtime on three new client acquisitions. ALS Society of Metropolitan Toronto has retained the firm to handle planning, promotion, production and event management for the society's 1999 fund-raiser. Special Assignment worked on the society's fund-raiser last year and based on the success was hired to handle this year's as well. Worldsites Network has hired Special Assignment to handle public relations for the Internet services franchise company. Special Assignment will work with Worldsites to raise awareness for the Mississauga-based company. Upper Canada Forest Products Ltd. with offices in Mississauga, Ontario, Vancouver and Kelowna, British Columbia, has also hired Special Assignment to handle public relations and marketing counsel for the North American forest products company. Currently the firm is working on a corporate brochure for the company and will work with Upper Canada on its trade show in September.
