GINGKO COOKING WITH IHFC

IHFC International Home Foods (Canada) Inc. of Toronto has awarded The Gingko Group also of Toronto, the advertising for its Chef Boyardee canned pastas, PAM no-stick cooking sprays and Puritan stews and flaked meats brands. The Gingko Group was awarded the brands following a competition involving five to seven unnamed agencies. At the same time, MBS was named by IHFC as its media agency-of-record. IHFC parted ways with advertising agency Leo Burnett because of an international conflict with Heinz. The account win gives Gingko its first packaged goods business. IHFC joins Gingko's client roster which includes The Ontario Lottery Corp., Royal Bank Visa, Foodland Ontario, Bayer Inc., Ontario Drive Clean and Kodak Canada.
