By Adnews Staff
Natrel Inc. of Toronto is giving lactose intolerant people the ability to quaff a glass of milk again with the introduction of Natrel 99.9 percent Lactose Free milk. To promote the new dairy beverage, a print campaign created by Sebastian Consultancy of Toronto will be running in magazines such as Modern Woman and Chatelaine. Lactose intolerance is a condition resulting from an inability to digest lactose, a natural sugar found in dairy products. Natrel's new 99.9 percent Lactose Free milk use a filtration process to help remove the lactose milk sugars resulting in a lactose free beverage that, according to Natrel, tastes just like regular milk. Currently Natrel's 99.9 percent Lactose Free milk is available in skim, 1% and 2% one litre sizes at most major grocery stores and Shoppers Drug Mart locations in Ontario. "With Natrel 99.9 percent Lactose Free milk, we are trying to make it easier for lactose intolerant people to benefit from the goodness of milk without having to fear any discomfort and pain," Natrel's category development manager, Greg Turcot said. Natrel Inc. is a subsidiary of Agropur, a Canadian dairy co-op, operating in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia. PR for Natrel is handled by Canada Porter Novelli of Toronto.
