GEM AWARDS TRAVEL MARKETING PR TITLE IN CANADA

GEM Canada of Toronto has appointed Travel Marketing Experts of Toronto its public relations representative in Canada. "As part of our overall marketing strategy, we wanted to raise our profile and the activities and services we offer in Canada with the travel, media and consumers," GEM Canada executive director Steven Kaufman said. "Travel Marketing Experts has been appointed because it has extensive contracts in the media and trade and is very familiar with the issues affecting the travel industry here in Canada." Travel Marketing Experts will be responsible for press releases, newsletters and media liaison activities in Canada. GEM has worked with the PR company for two years on a project basis. GEM Canada is a travel agency consortium with 84 locations across the country. Travel Marketing Experts is a Toronto-based marketing and communications company specializing in the tourism and hospitality industry.
