GIRLS GUIDES ANNOUNCE YEAR 2000 CALENDAR SPONSOR

Toronto-based Girl Guides of Canada - Guides du Canada has announced that after completing negotiations for its cookie campaign sponsorship, Allstate Insurance Company of Canada of Markham, Ontario, has agreed to sponsor the Girl Guides Calendar for the year 2000. The Girl Guides Year 2000 calendar celebrates the past and future of the organization in Canada. Allstate is donating $75,000 and will be the exclusive calendar sponsor. Allstate's logo, information on the company and its partnership with Girl Guides will be featured on the calendar. During the fall of 1999, Guiding Units across the country will be selling the calendars as a fund raising project. PR for Girl Guides is handled by Langdon Starr Ketchum of Toronto.
