TORONTO HYDRO WAKING UP THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Toronto Hydro has launched a new campaign that is designed to wake up the city. The new brand-awareness advertising campaign includes two newspaper ads and two 30-second radio spots. The tagline for the campaign is "At the flip of a switch, we're there. Every single solitary day." Created by Padulo Integrated Inc., the campaign features a man and a women not responding to an alarm clock. The announcer says "If you think it's hard getting your kids out of bed in the morning, try waking up a million parents." The second spot features a father attempting to cook dinner and a voiceover saying "If you think it's a chore cooking dinner every night, try cooking everyone's." Both scenes are included in the print and radio spots. Toronto Hydro is the second largest municipal distribution utility in North America. It is owned by the City of Toronto.
