VECTRA MARKETING DRINKING IT UP

The Vectra Marketing Group is beginning the summer season with the launch of two promotions, one for Canada Dry and the other for client Cadbury Beverages C'plus brand. The Canada Dry promotion is called "Discover Canada" and was designed to build sales of Canada Dry products. Consumers could win 1 of 4 trips anywhere Air Canada flies in Canada. The promotion is being supported with an Ontario wide 60-second banner tagged commercial. In-store, displays will also advertise the promotion and encourage consumer purchase. The C'plus promotion is called "Thirst for a Million" and runs across Ontario until October 15. To win, consumers must collect cap liners or look inside specially marked cases of Canada Dry Ginger Ale, C' plus Wink, C' plus Orange, C' plus Grape, C' plus Tahiti and C' plus Ruby Red Grapefruit. One winner will be awarded $1 million ($50,000 per year for twenty years). To build awareness of the promotion, a 60-second banner tagged radio commercial will be heard across Ontario. In-store advertising and point-of-sale materials are also being used to support the promotion.
