LCBO LAUNCHES BYID CAMPAIGN

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario greeted the Victoria Day long-weekend with the launch of its eighth annual BYID Bring Your Identification campaign. The BYID campaign promotes responsible drinking by focusing public attention on the LCBO's Challenge and Refusal and Check 25 programs. These year-round programs, require potential customers who appear to be under the age of 25, to provide valid proof of age or service is refused. The BYID campaign is rolled out prior to each holiday weekend throughout the summer. LCBO staff wear stickers to encourage customers to ask about the Challenge and Refusal and Check 25 programs. Advertising for the LCBO is done by Communique Group of Toronto.
