Toronto-based Purolator Courier is without a senior vice-president, marketing. The Toronto-based company announced yesterday that Carole Salomon had resigned from from the post after directing the marketing, advertising, promotion and new service development of Purolator for the past six years. Salomon, who brought the principles of packaged goods marketing to this service company and helped with the transition to new ownership two years ago, told Adnews yesterday "I'm a really action-oriented person and I'd like to look for new challenges." She commented, "I think that Purolator is in terrific shape from a marketing perspective." Salomon said she has a few opportunities to consider. Before coming to Purolator she spent 11 years in the confectionery division of Nabisco brands.
