BRIDGESTONE/FIRESTONE INTRODUCES NEW MARKETING MOVE

Bridgestone/Firestone Canada of Mississauga, Ontario and the Firestone Tire and Automotive Centres (TACs) are introducing of a no-charge Tire Club. The loyalty club will offer consumers on- and off-road benefits. The Tire Club is initially being showcased at two Toronto-areas TACs: Red Line Automotive Centre in Scarborough and Tune Ups to Tires in North York. Expansion of the Tire Club program to other TAC's across Canada is planned for later in the year. The Toronto launches are being supported with print advertising in local newspapers, point-of-sale materials including brochures, posters, danglers, floor decals and window clings, a media relations program and public events. The campaign was developed and executed by Communique Public Relations of Toronto.
