SONY, DISNEY, WAL-MART, FAMILY CHANNEL LAUNCH BEWITCHING PROMOTION

The Family Channel is marking the Canadian television broadcast of B*Witched and Five In Concert, a one-hour musical special featuring U.K. teen groups Five and B*Witched, with a contest called the "Party in the UK with B*Witched." To enter, viewers will be asked to watch B*Witched and Five In Concert and name the location where the concert was taped. The winner will get a trip for two to the U.K. to meet the Irish girls group B*Witched and watch the group. The promotion is being conducted in partnership with Wal-Mart, Sony Music Canada and The Walt Disney Company (Canada) Ltd. Wal-Mart will be pre-promoting the contest by distributing bag stuffers in their stores which highlight B*Witched and the upcoming special on the Family Channel. On May 3 the promotion will officially launch in all 124 Wal-Mart stores across Canada with the introduction of specially designed in-store signage and contest ballots created in-house by Sony Music. A television commercial will also be running on the Family Channel to promote the contest. The commercial was created in-house by the Family Channel. The contest closes on May 30. The Family Channel Inc. is a Canadian company providing family television entertainment. Astral Communications Inc. and WIC Western International Communications Ltd. equally control the network.
